Sorey joins from LPL Financial and will report to senior vice president, and head of advisor recruitment and Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation, Christopher Flint.

Sorey is tasked with developing and implementing strategies and processes to boost efforts around the recruitment of advisors, agents and advisory firms across all LFN affiliation channels in the US.

Sorey worked at LPL Financial from 2002 to 2014, during which time he held a number of business development leadership roles including regional director, division manager, and, most recently, senior vice president and national sales manager for the eastern region. 

Prior to that, Sorey worked in a sales and marketing capacity at: New York Life’s Mainstay Investments in Baton Rouge, LA; Transamerica Retirement Solutions, in Mandeville, LA; and Pilgrim Securities in San Diego, CA.
